These are a common problem on Freelanders, the rubber perishes causing transmission knocks and bangs.

A pair of new replacement prop-shaft bearings.

These bearings are fitted either side of the viscous drive coupling in the centre of the rear prop-shaft. They are a common failure and cause vibrations through the transmission.
It is recommended that both bearings are replaced at the same time.
